A great corporate portrait gives an insight into you and your business. It can help tell your brand story showing where you work, how you work and what your business looks like. Think of it as the hero image on your website or the front cover of your brochure.
Corporate portrait or Headshot? You may be wondering what the difference is. Whilst a great headshot is essential, a corporate portrait is a picture that says and shows more about you.
With greater creative possibilities, your corporate portrait will be a more informal view of you, shot at your place of work or at a location that reflects your personality and/or what you do. You may need a ‘ hero’ image to headline your website, or perhaps a selection of images for editorial or advertising.
I understand that every one of my corporate clients will have an idea of the look they would like me to achieve, and for that reason we’ll discuss your ideas and visions thoroughly before the shoot, and I can suggest a variety of locations and backgrounds in preparation for the day, so that your finished images thoroughly fit your brief.
Pricing for Business Portraits starts at £275 for one hour, and includes a selection of processed and retouched high resolution images.
Get a good night’s sleep. An extra hour or two of sleep will help you to relax, reduce under eye puffiness and help you to look your best.
Allow enough time. Rushing through your session will be stressful for you, and you need to look your relaxed in your photos, so make sure you don’t have to cut corners with your time.
Wear something you feel good in… but make sure it’s comfortable, and not too tight! Tight clothing can accentuate areas you may not be proud of.
What colour should I wear? Mid tones and dark colours work well. A white shirt under a dark jacket looks great, but white on it’s own can detract from your face. Plain is always better than a pattern.
What about makeup? Yes, do make the best of yourself, but don’t overdo it. Natural looking makeup, including lipstick or lip gloss and mascara will help you to look great.
